After many weeks of discussions with various organizations, Fred has launched the Women’s Health Project. He has coordinated the expertise of two Burmese health organizations, which are providing 4 to 5 nurses as well as other staff for this project. Fred had received many requests from the women living at the dump for these services; approximately 60 women attended the initial gathering.
